Kirchdorf/Haag, Germany, December 17, 2021. The global solar mounting manufacturer Schletter Group has been awarded orders for six more roof projects in Turkey as of the end of this year. The SingleFix pitched roof system is once again being used in the projects, which have a total output of 34 MW.

“The six orders are a fitting conclusion to a very successful year, during which we have been able to further expand our business in Turkey”, emphasizes Taner Öztürk, Managing Director of Schletter Turkey. “For us, Turkey is an important key market where we want to continue to grow more in the future.” The six new Schletter plants are being built in the south of Anatolia and in Central Anatolia: Three projects are in Kahramanmaraş, and the other three are in Uşak, Nigde and Gaziantep. The clients are United Solar, IBT Enerji, Heran Enerji, SYS Enerji, Liva Enerji.

Schletter will be using its “SingleFix” pitched roof system, a mounting system for fast fixing on self-supporting trapezoidal sheet metal roofs and sandwich elements. With this, small fixing plates are screwed directly onto the side of the upper flanges of the trapezoidal sheet and hold the Schletter mounting rails. This allows extremely fast installation that is structurally ideal. As is the case with many of its products, the Schletter Group also offers a 25-year warranty for this system.

Taner Öztürk thanked everyone involved for working so well together: “Our partnership with our Turkish colleagues was extremely efficient and ran smoothly.” The contracts for all six projects were concluded within just three weeks. “We are already looking forward to the start of construction and to further shared projects in the future”, says Mr. Öztürk.
