Your mission

  • Maintains warehousing operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational and company policies and procedures
  • Maintains oversight of inventory status
  • Make strategic adjustments to stock levels to ensure customer satisfaction while minimizing costs
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with ERP System
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Training employees.
  • Report adjustments to inventory to controlling as needed
  • Reports to the VP of Supply Chain
  • Helps execute and coordinate yearly and quarterly inventory
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
  • Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
  • Oversee and/or execute occassional light assembly
  • Oversee and/or execute occassional product rework

Your profile

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
  • 5+ years working in a warehouse environment, metal manufacturing prefered.
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Excellent computer and SAP skills are preferred
  • Forklift experience with certification is highly preferred
  • Ability to follow and issue verbal and written instructions. 
  • Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.
  • Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass.
  • Supervision and surveillance skills

  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities.
  • Ability to read calipers, tape measures and angle gauges.
  • Flexibility, punctuality, consistent attendance and self-direction for the success of the operations is required.
