Warehouse Manager (m/f/d)
Your mission
- Maintains warehousing operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational and company policies and procedures
- Maintains oversight of inventory status
- Make strategic adjustments to stock levels to ensure customer satisfaction while minimizing costs
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with ERP System
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
- Training employees.
- Report adjustments to inventory to controlling as needed
- Reports to the VP of Supply Chain
- Helps execute and coordinate yearly and quarterly inventory
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
- Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
- Oversee and/or execute occassional light assembly
- Oversee and/or execute occassional product rework
Your profile
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
- 5+ years working in a warehouse environment, metal manufacturing prefered.
- 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Excellent computer and SAP skills are preferred
- Forklift experience with certification is highly preferred
- Ability to follow and issue verbal and written instructions.
- Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.
- Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass.

- Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities.
- Ability to read calipers, tape measures and angle gauges.
