The Schletter Group focuses solely on the solar business. The light metal engineering division located at Kirchdorf is closed.

Schletter Inc. (USA) relocates to Shelby, North Carolina. An additional office and production facility of 9,000 m2 is built.

Schletter receives an order to equip the plenary hall of the Berliner Reichstag: in addition to special construction work for the plenary area Schletter designed and manufactured the lectern.

Expansion of the Haag location by a large production hall of 2,000 m².

The first welding robot is put into operation: products were produced for the first time in real serial production.

First large order from the railway industry; expansion of the metal processing business.
